FRIENDSHIP GROUPS

We aim to have all of the people of our faith community linked in with others through the bond of a friendship group.  This is an important way in which people can develop a sense of belonging amongst and with each other.

Our friendship groups vary greatly.  Some are large, some are small… some have lots of children, others don’t… some meet for purely social activities… and others like to make sense of this world through topical studies that involve digging deep into the Bible.

Our Friendship Group Co-ordinators are our Pastoral Assistants contactable via the Church Office ph (08) 8322 2544

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS

There are a number of groups that meet for Bible study on a regular basis.  These people come together because they want to gain a deeper appreciation of the relevance of the Bible to their everyday lives, and to develop their relationship with God, each other and the world in which they move.

>> For more information, visit our Bible Study page.

SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS

Like-minded people of our faith community come together for various activities.

At present we have a Cove Evening Quilters group that meets regularly at our church complex – usually fortnightly on the 2nd and 4th Monday evenings of the month.

We have a group of men who are very keen on fishing, and an annual fishing retreat may well become more frequently held because of its popularity.

Lots of other people within our faith community share common interests that result in all sorts of one-off activities happening.

OUT - Outreach Uganda Team

A very active and successful Ministry of our Church.

We have supported the new and very active Mutai congregation. Since then Mutai has grown in every way, though poverty and unemployment is endemic there. HIV/AIDS has decimated the male population and left many elderly women caring for orphaned children.
